What is Anxiety?
Anxiety is defined as a feeling of worry typically about an important event or something with an uncertain outcome. Physical and emotional reactions to anxiety differ from person to person. Some common symptoms include excessive worry, agitation, fatigue, irritability, difficulty concentrating, sleep disruption, muscle tension, irregular heartbeats, and more.

Other suggestions are to actively engage your mind. Meditate. Create a piece of art. Cook a challenging meal. Read. Play a game of sudoku.
Keeping a journal when your anxious about how you feel can be beneficial in helping to recognize triggers.
Keeping Anxiety Away
- Strive for healthy eating habits. We don’t always eat balanced meals at regular intervals, but it helps overall wellbeing when you do. Try limiting stimulants like caffeine and alcohol.
- Regular exercise. It’s proven to be beneficial for physical and emotional health.
- Remember to unplug. Turn off your phone and take a break from the media—social and otherwise.
- Try aromatherapy. Thanks to a terpene called linalool, lavender provides a relaxing and calming effect.
Cannabis for Anxiety
