For the protection of our staff and the public, if you do not have a medical requirement, no admittance without a face covering. Per the NM DOH public health order, masks are not required in Verdes if medical requirements dictate that you cannot wear a mask.
CONTINUING TO CARE
We believe now more than ever it is important to continue to practice social distancing. We have had our facilities commercially cleaned to disinfect all surfaces.
Our staff will continue to wear face masks for all interactions between clients and within our production facilities. To maintain the health and safety of all of us we highly encourage any client who enters the dispensary to please continue to cover their face and try to maintain a six-foot distance from other people.
SNEEZE GUARDS INSTALLED
You will see sneeze guards in place at all of our register stations.
Please help us stay save by placing the guard between yourself and the Service Rep and staying behind the blue tape on the floor in front of the register counters.

Essential Service Update
Medical Cannabis Dispensaries have been categorized as an "essential service." "Essential service" businesses are those that provide goods and services necessary to maintain public health and welfare.
Rest assured that you will always have safe access to your medicine.
The 3/20 update in response to COVID-19 states:
"Consistent with the purposes of the Lynn and Erin Compassionate Use Act, NMSA 1978...the Department deems licensed medical cannabis producers to be "essential services" for the purposes of the 3/19 public health order. Accordingly LNPPs are not required to limit operations pursuant to that order."

Pre-Order Curbside Pick Up
In the event you would feel more comfortable skipping the in-store shopping experience, we are offering pre-order curbside service from our parking lot. Here’s how it works:
IMPORTANT CHANGES TO YOUR SHOPPING EXPERIENCE
Reusable Bags & Containers:
- We will not accept reusable bags or containers at this time. Our bag credit and token program is temporarily suspended. This will mean that all product leaves the store in a clean, unused bag. You may still choose not to use a bag, but we ask that you do not bring in bags from home.
- We have temporarily suspended our container recycling program. These containers may be thrown away or recycled with your normal household recycling.
- Our stores have removed all interactive displays and smell jars to further remove any risk of contacting potential germs.
Flower Purchasing Limits:
- We have a 1oz. limit on all flower purchases at this time. Limit per customer, per day.
- Verdes Foundation will not accept returns on products purchased on or before 3/24 and, until further notice, all sales are final.
Health and Safety for Our Customers & Staff
For the health of our entire community, we have implemented increased wellness procedures. These include:
- Face masks for all employees
- Hand sanitation after every transaction
- The establishment of a staff childcare fund
- Paid Time Off (PTO) for employees who are sick or caring for others who are sick

Dear Verdes Community,
I know we are all grappling with the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19). At Verdes, we consider client and employee safety to be our number one priority and caring for your health includes all the behind the scenes practices we follow to ensure your safety. I want to personally reach out to you with the actions Verdes is taking to prevent the spread of the virus and protect your health and wellbeing.
We are proud of our robust PTO program that keeps employees home when they are sick. By paying our staff to stay home when they don’t feel well, we reduce risks of exposure. We believe in supporting local official’s efforts to contain the virus by following CDC best practice guidelines. Verdes has vigorous decontamination procedures throughout its grow, processing, and distribution departments. We have increased the frequency in which every surface is cleaned throughout the hour, to ensure only safe, quality medicine leaves our facilities.
You will see additional hand sanitizer stations throughout our stores as well as the temporary removal of our beverage stations.
If you prefer to not enter the store for your medicine, feel free to use our online ordering system www.verdesfoundation.org, or call one of our stores to place your order by phone 505-280-2814. When you arrive, you may stay in your car and call the dispensary to take your order out to you. Due to a high call volume, we appreciate your understanding that there may be a wait to speak with someone, or you may need to leave a voice message.
The Verdes experience may look slightly different as we pivot daily to protect our community and our people, but you can always count on the same compassion and care with every interaction.
